REGINA — Queen City Pride, Regina’s annual LGBTQ pride festival, will launch its full schedule, theme, campaign, and official guidebook at Pride Unleashed, the official festival launch party on Friday, May 15 at The Mercury, 2936 Thirteenth Avenue.
Each year, Pride Unleashed marks the countdown to the Queen City Pride Festival. This year, it will feature local DJs RyRy and Snakeboots, with members and supporters of the LGBTQ community getting their first look at what the festival has in store.
“This year’s pride festival will be Regina’s largest-ever, featuring over 30 events,” explains Marketing Director Dan Shier. “We’ve got staples like the official afterparty and family-friendly Pride Parade, plus new additions like our awards gala, which recognises local leaders in the LGBTQ community.”
A full event schedule, the Pride Guide, and festival videos launch at Pride Unleashed, Friday, May 15. The event kicks-off at 9PM and runs until 2AM. Media outlets will receive a confidential advance copy of the schedule and Pride Guide at 4PM on May 15.
