Queering the Creek Augmented Reality Art Show

Queen City Pride and curator Evie Ruddy present “Queering the Creek”, an augmented reality art show. By combining technology and the physical world, you can enjoy a self-guided presentation multimedia artworks created by queer, trans, and Two-Spirit artists during the 2020 pandemic.
Download the free app, Artivive, and take a walk along the Southside of Wascana Creek, between Elphinstone Street and the Albert Street bridge. When you find one of the eight signs/objects, as shown in the cover art of this event, open the app, hold your phone up to the sign, and artwork will pop up on your phone. Bring headphones & turn your volume up! Artworks include music, spoken word, video installation, painting, and drawing.
The artworks in this exhibition were created entirely or in part by queer, trans, and Two-Spirit artists based in Regina on Treaty 4, during social isolation.
