Queen City Pride Parade Presented by RBC

Walk, roll, skip, or scooter along with Queen City Pride in this year's Pride Parade presented by RBC!

This year's Parade Day  is Saturday, June 17th, 2017

2017 marks the 28th anniversary of the annual Queen City Pride Parade – our signature event that fills Regina's downtown with rainbows, smiles, and pride. Our first march took place on the sidewalks, with some participants wearing masks and paper bags over their faces to protect themselves from persecution. Today, the Queen City Pride Parade has grown to become one of Regina's most colourful and recognized parades.

Queen City Pride welcomes you to come together and celebrate Regina's gender and sexually diverse community. We encourage you to line the Parade Route as our fabulous spectators or join the parade through our online registration. Registration is mandatory for community groups, non-profit organizations, businesses, politicians and political parties, unions, churches, and other formal groups.

Parade staging begins at 10:00 am and all entries must enter 13th Avenue from Broad Street. The Parade will begin at 12:00 pm. The festivities continue at the parade's end point, the OUT In Victoria Park outdoor festival, presented by Regina & District Labour Council.

Information for Spectators

The Queen City Pride Parade presented by RBC is always open to our friends and family to participate in. To ensure the safety and smooth procession of the Pride Parade, we have TWO ways for you to join the Pride Parade!

  1. Join us at the Staging Area before 12:00pm and ask to be part of an existing Registered Entry in the Parade. We ask that you stay with the entry you join and help us maintain the spacing between each entry.
  2. Find a spot along the Parade Route and enjoy the Parade. Cheer on the Entries as they march past, then join in at the end with the Queen City Pride float. Please remember to pick up any garbage before you leave your spot.

We ask that spectators avoid jumping in or out of the Parade while it is in motion.
