Rainbow Cinemas and Studio 7

In April, Regina Pride Inc. made the announcement that the 2020 Queen City Pride Festival would be postponed until the fall. Since that announcement, the organizers of our annual festival have been working hard to reimagine Pride.

At a time when we’re spending a lot of time apart, how can we bring our community together?

Our vision for Pride 2020 is to present events and activities for our 2SLGBTQIA+ communities that can be enjoyed in many different ways. From events that can be enjoyed from your home to activities that encourage you to explore the world on your own. We’ve utilized a mix of technology and real-world adventure to make this year’s Pride unique, accessible, and diverse.

2020 Festival Events

We’re still working with our Community Event partners to prepare this year’s event lineup. Stay tuned for more updates!

Hosting an Event

The Queen City Pride Festival is a collaboration of events and programming that involves the work of over 20 different individuals, community groups, and organizations. Without this partnership with so many groups, the festival would not be as successful as it is today.

Including your Community Event is simple.

If you are not applying for a Bursary, choose the BLUE “Community Event Registration” option.

If you are applying for an Event Bursary, choose the GREEN “Event Bursary Application” option.

There’s no need to fill out both forms as both will result in your event being registered for the 2020 festival.

Pride & COVID-19

Regina Pride Inc. is working to ensure that all aspects of the 2020 festival meet or exceed public health guidelines provided by the Saskatchewan Health Authority. While many aspects of our festival are being delivered digitally, our team must still create clear guidelines for our staff, volunteers, and participants. We are seeking guidance from our health region to ensure proper care and attention for our festival.
